Our machine is type: CB-B4-002 4 axis controller with embedded VFD 1.5kW spindle inverter, but we have only 3 axis.

We have bought it and set Mach3 up exactly as the manual describes but the spindle doesn't turn.

We have tried all diferent settings and we had a short movement in it for less than a second once, just with the normal settings. It straightly has an E-stop or gives that the PWM bumped into a minimum setting.

What can be the problem?

With friend who bought a 6545, we had a problem like that. That was an electronic noise problem on emergency stop.

To diagnose, you should first try to program Mach3 to ignore emergency stop (red mushroom). Then start the spindle.

If that works, reenable it, and open the cover of the controller. Try to start the spindle. If it"s ok, that's really a noise problem.

To solve it, rewire the emergency stop with shielded cable, and route it as far as possible from the CFD board.
